零 is the character. But CantoDict has listed only the literary reading ‘ling4’. I’ll add the colloquial reading ‘leng4’ with its specific meaning in a while.

Most original Cantonese cartoon is from HK so they often speak very colloquial or slangy Cantonese. I find dubbed movies often have better Cantonese

5 years late. Suggestions for this were put forward years and years ago for the cantodict db to be used in apps and it was just sat on, much like this site. Disappointing seeing as most of Cantodict...

Is there a preferred form for this? I take it that it's supposed to be 𤷪 as those are two Canto-only characters.Also, is  only ever encountered in 𤷪? It seems to have been created as 疒 + phonetic 曾...

Looks like that's 𠸑 (according to 《廣州話方言詞典》). It's in Unicode Extension B and thus missing in a lot of Chinese font files, so that may explain why it doesn't seem to show up in CantoDict.
