So I've been plugging away at my anki deck for almost a year now, and even though I *do* notice an improvement, I think I need to change tact as it's very frustrating to not be able to read entire sentences...
I want to learn both SWC and colloquial cantonese so I guess it doesn't really matter where I start. So, I thought I'd see which books you found enjoyable to read & would recommend?
Would be great if it weren't a big book as I'm going to be immensely slow. Also would like 'natively' written suggestions, not translations from another language (I'm guessing the language/expressions won't be as natural)
And just out of curiosity, what other sites/reading material do you find enjoyable to learn from? :) As I mentioned, I rarely do any reading/translating, but I sometimes enjoy finding the lyrics to TVB drama theme songs and translating that! As a young mum I also sometimes visit this website called mamaclub and choose a random article to read (they're not too long, phew). What about you? :)
