I rarely use idiom in my conversation, but I like the way football commentators use them to enchant their calls on the action
Team A attacks 「一浪接一浪」team B defense zone 「風聲鶴唳」

I did, thanks. But I was a bit stumped by 「風聲鶴唳」. I didn't recognize the character 唳, and it's not in CantoDict. Found it in Pleco, though, together with the longer form of the idiom: 「風聲鶴唳, 草木皆兵」. Nice!
