I think perhaps people on this forum would be interested to know about a large source of written colloquial Cantonese dialogues with English translation. The Hong Kong Arts Festival play texts are published in side by side English/written Cantonese.

I'm not exactly sure where to get them, but I'll try to find out - I borrowed this one. There are also a large number of plays translated from English and performed in Cantonese, though the companies don't necessarily publish the translations officially (I'm sure there are royalty issues) but they exist (I have copies of a couple).
I only recently realised how unique written Cantonese is to the acting/performance world, so hopefully it will be useful for you to know it exists.
I'd love to know if there are any other instances of written Cantonese being widely used; I find it really helpful to learn this way (I started with Mandarin).
