Lok Bai Lok sentence pattern

Hey guys, I hope every one had a good Christmas. I need a little help on some grammar that I keep hearing maybe two or three times a week. Now it's at the point where I can pick it out in conversation between other people, but I have no clue what the grammar pattern is or any specific meaning.

It sounds like lok bai lok but I also hear lok bai yat and lok bai saam (I guess for Monday's and Wednesdays etc); I asked and it has something to do with separating weeks? I'm pretty sure one of the characters is 拜 but when I think of weeks I always use patterns with 'sing kay'.

Can anyone help? I'm sure it's a grammar pattern but I'm just grasping at straws to make sense of it. If it was rare I wouldn't mind it so much, but now I notice it in use more and more; I'm thinking it's pretty common. Also if you provide the Chinese characters that's fine, I can memorize them.

Thanks in advance, I'm sure other learners would be helped out too!!
